Open Source Preservation Workshop: Serving the Cultural Heritage
The workshop will take place in Stockholm on April 7, 2016, and will be hosted at the National Library of Sweden.

Registration is now open to attend the Open Source Preservation Workshop.

Organised by the PREFORMA project, it is the first in a series of events planned by this international consortium of technology and content providers, working together on one of the main challenges memory institutions are facing nowadays: the long-term preservation of digital data.

Are you a developer interested in contributing code to the PREFORMA tools?

Are you working for a memory institution or other cultural heritage organisation involved in (or planning) digital preservation initiatives?

Are you working for a standardisation body maintaining the technical specifications of preservation file formats?

Don’t miss this opportunity to get to know us! The PREFORMA Open Source Preservation Workshop will offer attendees the opportunity to learn how to use the conformance checkers and to meet the community which has been established around these tools.
