La Red VIT@LIS es una agregación de actores europeos y latinoamericanos activos en temas como e-Educación, e-Salud, e-Gobierno, e-Inclusión, etc. y interesados en compartir resultados y proyectos y en colaborar hacia la creación de una Sociedad de la Información mas inclusiva y abierta.

VIT@LIS fue anunciada en ocasion del @LIS Day ((www.alisday.info) y cuenta hoy con mas de 70 Socios Fundadores, incluyendo universidades, ONGs, gobiernos y agencias publicas, redes internacionales, empresas, autoridades locales. Esta genuina naturaleza multiactor va a hacer de VIT@LIS un gran enlace entre los muchos proyectos que se están desarrollando en América Latina y las políticas nacionales y regionales de Sociedad de Informacion, facilitando la visibilidad de estos proyectos y su apoyo por parte de instituciones publicas y potenciales financiadores. Al mismo tiempo, VIT@LIS va a facilitar la creación de nuevos partenariados y proyectos EU-LA y el intercambio de resultados y practicas de investigacion.

En el sitio www.alis-online.org pueden encontrar el Documento de Asociación de VIT@LIS, que explica la misión, los principios inspiradores, los objetivos, y la lista de los Socios Fundadores puesta al día.

Hasta el final de 2006 es posible asociarse a VIT@LIS como “socios fundadores”, y de esta manera colaborar en la definición del plan de trabajo de la Red. Asociarse hoy no tiene ningun costo, simplemente se requiere identificar una persona de contacto en su organización. Para asociarse simplemente contesten positivamente a este mensaje.

I have the pleasure to invite you to join to VIT@LIS Network, a strategic large-scale operation for the future of Europe-Latin America cooperation in the Information Society.

VIT@LIS is an aggregation of European and Latin American actors active in areas such as eLearning, e-Health, e-Government, e-Inclusion, and willing to share results and knowledge and to joinly work for the creation of an inclusive and open Information Society across the two continents.

VIT@LIS was launched on the @LIS Day (www.alisday.info) and counts today on more than 60 Founding Members, including universities, NGOs, governments and public agencies, international networks, companies, local authorities. This genuine multistakeholder nature will ensure that VIT@LIS can act as an "articulator" between existing/future projects and public policies, facilitating the visibility of these projects and their adoption and support by public institutions and founders. At the same time, VIT@LIS aims to facilitate the creation of new EU-LA networks and projects and to foster exchange of research results and practices.
