The 2003 International Conference on Computational Science and Its Applications will take place in Montreal, Quebec, Canada from May 18, 2003 till May 21, 2003. Following the tradition of emphasis on Computational Science and the application of computational science in the previous events, the 2003 International Conference on Computational Science and Its Applications is organized, subsequent to the International Conference on Computational

Science (ICCS) series of events, which were held in San Francisco, USA (ICCS 2001 <iccs2001/) and Amsterdam, The Netherlands (ICCS 2002 <iccs2002/).

Session: Network Services for GRID Computing Description of the session: This session will consider all the interactions between GRID computing and the underlying network, looking at the network requirements and the network services required for GRID. It includes, but is not limited to the following areas: transport protocol support for GRID, traffic engineering and performance monitoring for GRID, GRID traffic characterization, QoS for GRID, GRID and multicast, support of GRID in multiservice networks, network security for GRID, network management for GRID, policy management for GRID, middleware for GRID, results from experiments.

Important Dates:

  • February 7, 2003: Deadline for paper submission (full papers)
  • February 28, 2003: Camera Ready Papers and Pre-registration
  • May 18-22, 2003: ICCSA 2003 Conference in Montreal, Canada

Submission Details: We invite you to submit a full paper of 6 to 10 pages for oral presentation. The paper must present an original work, not published elsewhere. The paper must be presented by one of the authors at ICCSA 2003.

The camera-ready version must be formatted according to the rules of LNCS and should not exceed ten pages.
